Thetford Campus
An exciting vision for a new multi-million-pound learning campus in the heart of Thetford has been unveiled, representing a major step towards expanding education, skills training and community opportunities in the town.
The project is a collaboration between West Suffolk College (part of Eastern Education Group) and Breckland Council, and aims to create a modern, multi-use education and community hub that will benefit learners of all ages.
The proposed Campus would bring high-quality education, training and community facilities to Thetford, making it easier for local people to access opportunities without having to travel long distances
Project Enabled by the Community
Following an exciting presentation to the board, Thetford's "Pride in Place" programme has endorsed the concept and agreed to help fund the next steps, including detailed planning, architectural designs, site surveys and cost analysis.
Message from the Chair, Jo Pearson:
"This is fantastic news for Thetford that really delivers what the people of Thetford have told us they want: regeneration in our town centre and investment in education and skills. I look forward to seeing this initiative develop and seeing how the forThetford programme can support it."
